Mr. David Scott
David Scott is a Bariatric and General Surgeon who has done over 3000 operations for weight loss surgery in Gippsland over the last 20 years. All the follow up is bulk billed, which contributes to the excellent weight loss results we have achieved (84% excess weight loss). David operates exclusively at Maryvale Private Hospital, Morwell.
David graduated from Monash University and completed advanced surgical training with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons 2007.
David also specialises in laparoscopic surgery and performs the following additional procedures:
• Nissen fundoplication for reflux management (hiatus hernia repair)
• Laparoscopic cholecystectomy (gallbladder removal)
• Hernia repairs
• Gastroscopy and colonoscopy
David lives on a local beef farm and has a strong connection to the region and enjoys supporting local events including country football.
