Specialists at Warragul Specialist Centre

Dr Stephen Ah-Kion is a General Physician with interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology. He has been working with Latrobe Regional Hospital, Traralgon as a Consultant Physician since August 2010. He is currently practising at Warragul Specialist Centre on Thursday afternoons, aiming to offer a service for patients with Diabetes and Endocrine disorders in Gippsland. Dr Ah-Kion graduated from Trinity College Dublin in Ireland and trained in General Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology at St James’ and Mater Misericordiae in Dublin. He has been practising for more than 20 years and has published a number of papers on diabetes and endocrinology. He is also currently involved in teaching junior medical staff, as well as medical students, at Monash University School of Rural Health, Traralgon. Dr Ah-kion is fluent in French, Creole, minimal Chinese Hakka and English.
